About PRB Academy

Excellence means committing to improvement at every practice and every game. Our coaches emphasize strong fundamentals, preparation, attention to detail, and personal accountability. We celebrate progress, encourage athletes to challenge themselves, and recognize that effort and growth matter alongside the scoreboard.

We expect players, coaches, and families to represent the Hitmen with honesty, sportsmanship, and respect. That means taking responsibility for mistakes, treating opponents and umpires fairly, following team expectations, and doing what is right even when nobody is watching.

Hustle is an everyday commitment. Players are encouraged to run hard, stay engaged on every pitch, practice with purpose, and respond positively to setbacks. We emphasize perseverance and coachability because learning to compete through adversity builds confidence beyond the field.

Pico Rivera Baseball Academy exists to serve families in Pico Rivera and surrounding neighborhoods. Through volunteer leadership, fundraising, community events, and support for players who need assistance, we aim to make competitive baseball more accessible and strengthen the relationships that bring our community together.

Academic commitment is part of being a Hitmen player. We encourage athletes to manage school responsibilities, demonstrate good attendance and citizenship, and approach learning with the same discipline they bring to baseball. Our scholar-athlete recognition highlights achievement in the classroom as well as on the diamond.

The academy brings players, parents, coaches, and alumni together around shared goals and lasting friendships. We encourage families to support one another, communicate respectfully, celebrate milestones, and help create a welcoming environment where every player feels valued and connected to the Hitmen tradition.
